Diego Alvarez, MD, FACP
Dr. Alvarez is board certified in internal medicine and has specialty training in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases. Dr. Alvarez brings his personal philosophy of caring and individualized treatment to each of his patients.
He received his MD degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, College of Medicine. After receiving the MD degree, he completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine and a two year fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the State University Kings County Hospital Center and a one year research fellowship in pulmonary diseases and exercise physiology.
